This past week I've summoned up the courage to resist feeding Lana in the middle of the night when she wakes up and from feeding her on demand during the day (I feed her every 4 hrs during the day now). I know most of you think I'm silly to let her go on so long like this, but she's soooo tiny! Since she wont eat normal food I thought the only way to fatten her up was to feed her all the breast milk she wanted. However, I was beginning to realize that if breast milk was not readily available she'd be more willing to try new foods.
So, at the end of the first week of her new regimen this is what's happened:
1. She can sleep through the night until 7 am! I'm a happy mom:)
2. Despite her rumbling tummy she vehemently refuses to eat ANY food in-between breast feeding.
3. She is the most stubborn, strong willed, hardheaded toddler I've ever seen!
4. She is most definitely my mother's grandchild;) (for all those who know my mother, #3 explains her)
5. I now know what her tantrums are like......:)
